Del Mundo Group (DMG) has expanded OldTown White Coffee’s presence in Mindanao with the opening of a new branch in Zamboanga City, marking the brand’s first outlet in the city.
According to Manila Standard, OldTown White Coffee—a Malaysian beverage company—plans to invest ₱400 million to expand its network in the Visayas and Mindanao over the next five years. DMG is the Philippine licensee of the brand.
The Zamboanga City branch, located in Tumaga, officially opened on October 3, 2025. The opening forms part of OldTown White Coffee’s broader regional expansion strategy in southern Philippines.
The event was attended by executives and local officials, including:
Arnold Molenhuis, Chief Financial Officer of OldTown White Coffee
Nelson Del Mundo, Chief Executive Officer of Del Mundo Group
Pherhan Saiddi and Jhulie Saiddi, branch owners
Mayor Khymer Adan Olaso of Zamboanga City
Former Mayor Celso Lobregat
The Zamboanga opening is one of several outlets planned under DMG’s ₱400-million investment program. The expansion will support the opening of additional OldTown White Coffee stores across the Visayas and Mindanao, strengthening the brand’s footprint outside Luzon.
OldTown White Coffee operates more than 200 outlets globally, with a presence in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.
DMG stated that the expansion strategy focuses on increasing OldTown White Coffee’s regional presence, particularly in cities with growing business and consumer activity. The company emphasized that the investment aims to support both brand growth and local economic participation through employment and restaurant operations.
